Red Hat does not support installation to USB drives or SD memory cards.

Requirement:

it supports the following installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux procedure:Hard drives connected by a standard internal interface, such as SCSI, SAT A, or SAS BIOS/firmware RAID devices.Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapters and multipath devices are also supported. Vendor provided drivers may be required for certain hardware.Red Hat also supports installations that use the virtualization technologies.

Step by Step Installation Of Red Hat Enterprise Linu

For installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Insert disk of red hat OS into CD Rom and boot from disk.

Press enter to install in graphical mode.

If you want to check installation disk then press OK if not then press SKIP.

Click on NEXT to continue.

 

Select installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux language that you want and press NEXT

 

Select Keyboard language that you want and press NEXT

 

If you have registration key for installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux then enter, otherwise skip it.

 

Press skip and NEXT.

 

Press Yes to initialize all hard drives for partition.

Previously if you have any OS on HDD and you want to remove it then select “remove Linux partition” or if you want to remove all drives then select “remove all partition” or if you want to use free space in installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux only then select it.

 

Select your time zone.

 

Enter password for “root”

 

If you want install more software’s and servers with OS select CUSTOMIZE NOW otherwise Later.

Select tools, applications and servers that you want to install during installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. And press NEXT.

Now installation is start , so wait……

 

Now press FORWARD for setting after installation.

 

Select yes and press FORWARD.

 

Select firewall services and press FORWARD

Press YES to enforce security.

Press FORWARD

Check kdumps memory if you want recovery from system crashes and unplanned restart.

Set time and date then press FORWARD.

Pres NO if you not have serial key.

Press button “no thanks I contact later”.

If you want to create new user then enter required data.

Enter user name .

Now enter password:
