Nearly every computer user who wants to avail internet facility on his device have to experience the configuration’s procedure of NIC/LAN for the connectivity purpose .It is quite so simple procedure and every one can perform the network interface card configuration by itself there is no need of any expertise. Only follow some simple steps and configure it manually. Before starting your configuration you must be assure that you are using the compatible NIC (Network interface card)/LAN (Local Area network) card according to your system specifications.

Driver installation:

Firstly you have to check the appropriate NIC driver’s installation in your hardware setting for properly Configure NIC / LAN Card. Because if the driver is enabled and working properly then you will be able to configure it. For this purpose go to My Computer icon and do right click on it then choose properties from the popup menu and then select Hardware tab then “Device manager”. Step by step procedure of configuration:

Step 1: First of all Right for Configure NIC / LAN Card click on network icon go in status.

Step 2. A popup window with title Local Area network connection status will be appeared before you then go in properties.

Step 3. Select TCP/IP protocols from the multiple options with check boxes and click on properties:

Step 4. If you want to configure manually or from static way enter addresses or if you want to configure it dynamically select obtain IP address automatically.

Step 5: Click OK and close other windows box.
